July 6 - Mozart: Requiem & Fauré: Requiem

July 13 - Brahms: Requiem*

Vance George - Former Director of San Francisco Symphony Chorus

*Please bring your own score if you have one - any edition or language is fine - as we have had trouble finding scores

 

July 20 - Bach: B-minor Mass

Bob Worth - Professor of Music & Choral Director at Sonoma State University; Founding Music Director of Sonoma County Choral Society

 

July 27 - Haydn: Lord Nelson Mass

Michael Morgan - Music Director, Oakland East Bay Symphony & Festival Opera; Principal Conducter, Sacramento Philharmonic

 

August 3 - Mozart: C-minor Mass & Bach: Magnificat

Buddy James - Associate Professor of Music, Cal State East Bay, Director of Choral & Vocal Activities, Conductor of the University Orchestra

 

August 10 - Verdi: Requiem

Getting to the Sing-Ins

Plenty of parking is available at the church. 
Directions using public transit:

The closest BART station is Fruitvale, on the Dublin/Pleasanton and Fremont lines. Catch the #54/Merritt College bus, which runs every 15 minutes (until 6:30 PM, service intervals get longer after 6:30 PM). The new fare after 7/1/2009 is $2.00 (25-cent discount using BART/bus transfer is available).

To get back to Fruitvale BART, the last #54 bus of the day leaves First Covenant Church at approximately 10:17 pm. (The last bus leaves Merritt College at 10:13pm. The previous bus leaves Merritt at 9:32pm and First Covenant at approximately 9:36pm.)
